Rust-Oleum Concrete Protection Systems Heavy Duty Floor Toppings are specifically designed to resist the most aggressive chemical, corrosive, and abrasive conditions. They provide protection against caustics, acids, solvents, and other industrial chemicals, as well as resistance to severe abrasion and impact.
For optimum chemical and physical protection of the surface, one of the Overkote family of toppings is the best selection. These products are available in three grades of chemical resistance, "good, better, and best". They are Overkrete&trade,Overkote&trad;, and Overkote plus&trade, respectively, and all have similar appearance, physical performance, and application characteristics. A related product, Overkote MC, has been formulated specifically for resistance to strong solvents such as methylene chloride.
For resistance to severe abrasion and impact, when resistance to aggressive chemicals is not needed, FIorCIad™ HD topping isthe best choice. This is a 1/4" trowel-applied heavy duty floor topping system providing a very attractive and outstanding appearance. It withstands severe physical abuse, and is well-suited for industrial, commercial and institutional facilities.
For applications requiring a decorative appearance in addition to heavy duty protection, BriteCast™ flooring is our recommended alternative. It provides an attractive, 3-dimensional, colored-quartz appearance by using blends of colored aggregate, coated with a clear sealer. Most facilities require a anti-skid surface, but some need a smooth, easy-to-clean floor. Rust-Oleum CPS SLTM (Self-Leveling) topping is a 90 ml smooth finish floor with chemical resistance equal to its Overkote™ Series counterparts.
All Rust-Oleum CPS Toppings are VOC compliant and virtually odorless during application. Most meet USDA requirements for use in food and beverage facilities.Each product can be ordered in a variety of standard colors, with custom colors also available.
